Partnering to transform communities
Living Our Values
MiTek goes Beyond the Build by aligning our social impact initiatives with business objectives and our team members' experience.
We live our collective values through a shared belief that MiTek’s teams can be a force for positive change when we follow our Guiding Principles in how we do business, and in how we support our community.

Some thoughts from one of our partners

“Perhaps the most inspiring part of this partnership is seeing former Saigon Children’s students now working at MiTek, building rewarding careers and supporting their families, while returning as role models to encourage the next generation.”
Damien Roberts, Executive Director

What's new this year?
HEARTS & HANDS WEEK

At MiTek, giving back is a global movement. During our annual Hearts & Hands Week, team members step away from their regular work to serve the communities they call home. In 2025, we saw 43% of our global workforce mobilize, contributing over 7,400 volunteer hours to local causes.
Because we believe in the power of local impact, many MiTek locations host Transformation Teams, volunteer champions who support charities that resonate with their specific community, ensuring our efforts make a difference where it's needed most.
Here are just a few of the incredible causes our Transformation Teams supported in 2025:
- REshare, Vietnam
- C.R.A.S.H. Charity, U.K.
- The Magnolia Masekhane Project, South Africa
- Honour the Work, Canada
- Zuma's Rescue Ranch, Denver, U.S.
Veterans Community Project – St. Louis

In partnership with MiTek's customer, Con-Tech Building Components, team members in St. Louis helped expand a local tiny home village dedicated to housing veterans, building wall panels and trusses for the Veterans Community Project's second phase of home building.
MiTek supported the effort by contributing volunteer labor and skilled expertise to help with the installation, while Con-tech provided wall panels, roof trusses and trim, at cost. This project was a powerful opportunity for our St. Louis team to live our Guiding Principles of Stewardship and Unity, building an organization’s capacity to deliver stable homes more efficiently to a deserving community.
HABITAT ON THE HILL

In 2025, MiTek proudly served as the presenting sponsor for Habitat for Humanity International’s 20th Annual Legislative Conference, held on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. This event united Habitat leaders, homeowners, volunteers, and nationwide advocates to champion policies expanding access to affordable homeownership.
The gathering brought together 470 passionate attendees representing 42 states. Throughout the event, advocates held more than 300 dedicated meetings with congressional leaders, urging lawmakers to increase the supply of quality homes for low- and moderate-income homebuyers.
SHE BUILT FOUNDATION

Building a more inclusive industry starts early. MiTek has been a long-time partner and funder of the She Built Foundation, an organization dedicated to inspiring the next generation of builders. Our support, including thought leadership and board membership, has enabled them to expand their reach so more girls can learn and participate. In 2025 alone, the MiTek team distributed over 5,300 books to help children learn more about the construction industry.
Our latest collaboration marks a major milestone: the launch of the first-ever elementary construction curriculum. Fully funded by MiTek, this initiative provides parents and teachers with free, high-quality tools to introduce students to the world of building and construction.
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF HOME BUILDERS (NAHB)

MiTek continues to be a proud supporter of the NAHB HBCU Student Leadership Program, an initiative dedicated to inspiring and training the next generation of builders from Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
This partnership is a cornerstone of our commitment to diversifying the construction industry and to building a robust talent pipeline of future MiTek team members and industry leaders. In addition to providing funding, we engage students through learning experiences and industry exposure.
Since its inception in 2023, the program has seen remarkable growth, expanding from two chapters and 22 students to 11 chapters and 433 members across the United States today.
